Data Analyst

Position Overview

King is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Analyst to support our professional services team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and organization of critical data across multiple projects and service areas. You will contribute to research initiatives, data collection and entry, demographic studies, State funding applications, and other analytical assignments. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and enjoys turning raw data into meaningful insights and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input and update data across spreadsheets, databases, and internal platforms
• Perform regular data maintenance and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Research and acquire relevant datasets from internal and external sources
• Organize, structure, and manage datasets for use in client-facing products and reports
• Assist in the development of charts, data summaries, and written reports
• Support demographic analysis and State funding application processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet project deadlines and requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (required)
• Strong general computer and internet navigation skills, including:
  • Accurate typing and numeric keypad entry
  • File organization using logical folder structures and paths
  • Locating and downloading data from online sources
• Ability to learn and utilize project management tools to track progress
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Excel charts, Google Data Studio, etc.)
• Prior experience in an analytical or administrative support role

Work Environment & Schedule

This position will begin as a full-time, in-person role (Monday–Friday), with the potential to transition into a hybrid schedule based on performance and business needs.
