The next round of California’s Career Technical Education Facilities Program (CTEFP) is opening soon, with a confirmed application deadline of December 1, 2026.
This round represents $300M in remaining funding from the total $600M allocated to the program under Proposition 2, and reflects the remaining bonding authority available for CTEFP.
$300M in funding remaining to the program under Prop 2.
Application deadline is December 1, 2026
The CTEFP is reimbursable for previously self-funded projects.
Applications can be submitted anytime during the window and are scored competitively after it closes.
You can request CTE funding for facilities and equipment, and even submit for equipment only.
We are proactively reaching out to gauge interest in the CTEFP. It’s important to start planning now.
With demand expected to be high, districts should begin defining project scope, aligning CTE programs, and preparing documentation well ahead of the December deadline.
If your district is interested in getting application(s) on our CTEFP workload, please let us know and we will follow up with program information and next steps to begin the application process.
