What’s happening right now
The State is launching the new SFP Small School District Program, available to districts with 2,500 or fewer students.
Key features of the new program include:
Funding for both Modernization and New Construction projects
Early funding commitments before completing full design and DSA approvals
Advance design funding for eligible Financial Hardship districts
Applications open Nov. 2, 2026 (Modernization) and Jan. 15, 2027 (New Construction)
